Replacement of Distribution Boards in Hospital

We were successful at the quotation stage and employed as the Electrical Contractor to carry out Distribution Board replacements to unoccupied wards being refurbished.

We had to work closely with the Hospital Trust as well as other contractors on site, within each ward, whilst refurbishments were being carried out.

The main installation works consisted of the following:

• Disconnect, remove, make safe and label all circuits from the existing Distribution Boards
• Carry out cable containment alterations for the new 3 phase Distribution Boards
• Installation of temporary power and lighting whilst the refurbishment works take place
• Installation of cable markings for identification of each sub circuit cable
• Carry out reactive fault finding to circuits that do not comply to latest IET Regulations
• Issue NICEIC Electrical Certificate on completion of works

Works were carried out over a period of 18 months once the wards became available.
